From CNA to Coach:

About Des Raised Without a Blueprint, Built My OwnI didn’t grow up around money talk, credit talk, business talk, or none of that. I grew up in Decatur, GA, raised by my grandma —a strong woman who did the best she could with what she knew. And the truth is… she didn’t know this system. She didn’t have the resources, so she couldn’t pass it down. So I walked into adulthood blind. Had to guess. Had to figure it out the hard way.Right out of high school, I became a CNA. Long shifts, heavy work, sore feet, tired body, but a heart full of ambition. I followed all my grandmother wishes went to school, got my Business Associate’s degree, tried to do everything right. But nobody told me doing everything right doesn’t guarantee you freedom.Nobody told me that one mistake could set you back and I’m not ashamed to say it. I messed up.Twice. Before I even hit 30.I had to decide whether I was going to quit or fight for the life I deserved. And let me tell you something Starting over don’t feel good…But staying stuck feels way worse.I don’t coach from theory. I coach from experience. If I can do it, YOU can do it too.

I Had to Rebuild Twice Before 30.

Raised by my grandma in Decatur, GA, I wasn’t taught how to structure life for approvals. Out of fear, she didn’t pass down this knowledge — so I had to figure it out the hard way. Truth is, I messed up not once, but twice — and I’m not even 30 yet. But here’s the truth: it’s never too late to rebuild. I’m 28 years old, born and raised in Decatur, GA. A proud SWD alum. I worked as a CNA straight out of high school, later earning my Business Associate’s. I followed the rules, worked hard, did “the right things.” But none of that guaranteed me peace or freedom. Mentorship and like-minded people changed my life. That’s why I became a coach — not because I’m perfect, but because I’ve lived what you’re living.
